Flyers want more for Laughton, won’t move him for less than a 2nd at minimum

Flyers traded Walker because they didn’t want to sign him for $5M AAV so aren’t going to 2 months later

Ottawa easily matches that

Flyers aren’t going to retain $18M on Coots, if they move him and retain the number won’t be higher than $1.75M. Anything else would absolutely unprecedented and would definitely require a return of more than a 5th just like Hertl

Idk how you can compare Hertl and couturier.
Hertl had 4 less points in almost 30 less games playing on one of the worst nhl rosters ever and couts was playing for a fridge playoffs team.

Not to mention couts just returned from a surgery lots thought was gonna end his career.

This a terrible comp if you want out on couturier you are gonna have to pay for a team to take on the risk he brings of potentially never returning to his previous form aswell as the risk of him becoming injury prone.

You literally just proved my point thanks bud lol. Dude was never supposed to play again and came back after not playing for 2 years and put up 40 points now he will have a normal offseason without rehab and probably come back even better

Ya that’s a reach bud.

he’s not in his early 20’s no more he’s 31 turning 32 early in the season, he didn’t look great the vast majority of the time this season I don’t expect no breakout/ comeback season from him. Torts loves 2 way reliable players so the fact he’s picking apart couturier is not a good sign.

Couturier hasn’t had a healthy season in 5 years I don’t expect things to change now.

5 years ago was 2019.
2019: 80 games played missed 2
2020: 69 games played and Flyers played 71 but COVID cut it short
2021: 45 out of 56 played because he caught COVID
2022: Yes he got hurt
2023: Got scratched and was out a few games with a small shoulder injury

Please explain to me other than 2022 where he was hurt? Ur gonna blame the dude for getting covid in the middle of a pandemic? Sit this one out u don’t know what ur talking about

Lmao yeah completely ignore everything I said cause I proved u don’t know what ur saying, good conversation man lol. He will be a perfectly fine 2C and later in the deal will be a fine 3C to end his career. Nobody thinks he’s gonna be an amazing PPG player that he was 6-7 years ago. But don’t get on here and act like u know what ur talking about saying he hasn’t been healthy in 5 years when that’s completely false I mean do some research before speaking lol

Keep paying your injury prone 3C near 8 mill haha seems like a very successful plan. Good luck to you.

You Philly fans disappeared for a while when you guys were poverty, post Giroux. Now y’all are just straight delusional trying to cope.

We are starting a rebuild and already have the 2nd best prospect in the world minus Bedard. There’s nothing to cope with. We will be fine in a few years. Boston will fall off soon and then u can hop on ur other bandwagon Colorado and eventually maybe when they are done u can hop on the Leafs bandwagon since that’s clearly all u are is a fair weather supporter of any good team

Colorado I feel is most bruins 2nd favourite team and that’s just out of respect for them winning bourqe a championship so there you go bud.

I’m getting tired of seeing all these bruins are gonna fall off comments been seeing them for so long yet nothing has happened still top of the east every year.

Sway/ pasta/ mcavoy is better than whatever you going in Philly. You can hope Mitchkov turns into a pasta level player, not one of your d prospects or Current dmen will ever be on mcavoys level and well you see you did have a goalie that could maybe be as good as swayman one day but well he’s gonna be lucky if the KHL takes him once his court case is done.

That’s why we are starting a rebuild bud lol that’s how u get top prospects. Bruins lucked into picks and that’s why they are good and good for them. You guys have this stacked squad as you say and still haven’t won a cup in 13 years so who really cares that you have good players when ur not good enough to win a Stanley cup anyway? Everybody knows the Bruins and Leafs are regular season teams so what does it matter. I’d rather be rebuilding and trying to from a strong well rounded team instead of just constantly choking in the playoffs.

That’s not a chirp it’s reality. If my team had 0 chance of winning a cup I’d rather be rebuilding than kidding myself every year that we could actually win it. Boston is a regular season team. They are 3rd best team in their own division it’s just the only bigger playoff chokers other than Boston are the Leafs who they are playing right now lol. Boston is not a good enough team to win the cup and that’s just reality. You have two good forwards and one of them spends half his time licking other players on the ice.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You’re not wrong, but good luck

He thinks Couturier can be a ppg player again
And don’t even get him started on Laughton- who is apparently worth a 1st + in his opinion
