In all sincerity, if he'd accept a 2 year deal I'd pay him $12M per and give him the same total amount of money for a year less of service. Heck, for a 2 year deal I'd consider more as well.

I don't think Chicago will be in the market for a backup goalie this off-season. I think Stauber and Soderblom will be competing for that role and they'll revisit that next off-season if neither prove to be serviceable.

he wants to win, Hawks are no where close to that.
