I am guessing that Detroit does trade Maatta for something like that (as they are overloaded with LHD from having 2 LHD prospects lose their waiver exempt status/graduate), but I also think they'll send him to the Western Conference and certainly not to a division rival.

However, it wouldn't surprise me if they bundled Maatta, Jonatan Berggren, and a draft pick for a good NHL top 6 winger.
