that's a joke. no one is going to want that PLD contract. add multiple firsts or retain salary.

The joke is even with how "bad" you think PLD, he walks into the B's lineup as their best center !

Coyle and Zacha are not better than PLD.

With all the hate Marner got, why aren't the B's talking badly about their 2 top centers going awol in the playoffs ?

they didn't have a good series but defensively were good.

no. PLD sucks right now. based on how he played this season he would have been a health bomb in boston because he doesn't skate.

and again, the NHL has a salary cap. contracts matter. hes negative value.

First time he has ever had his minutes cut down to middle 6 center, playing inbetween Kopitar and Daneult can't be easy.

Also 3rd time in 5 years his been on a new team/coach.

if effort and attention to detail are an issue, boston ships you out, they don't bring you in.

he's a negative value asset. duh.

he's probably the worst contract in the league. where have you been? this isn't a hot take, this is the consensus opinion.

They were better this year, and even if that doesn't continue neither Coyle or Zacha are making 8.5M for the next 7 years, thank god

So did Dubois vs Edmonton, so what exactly does this solve for Boston?

It is a hot take, 1 year with a new team is too early to judge on making $8.5 million.

Ask the Flames who has the worst contract, lol...Huberdeau by a mile and a half.

Paying $10 million per year for two 3rd line centers is nothing to be proud of.

PLD is on a team with better depth at center than the B's. So obviously it'll reflect on his stats.

Milk cartons in Boston should have Coyle and Zacha's picture.

but why would any team pay to take that risk? he's sucked. he's paid a lot for a long time and has often lacked effort. no one is taking that

That's a ridiculous excuse for PLD's play. The Kings would not have paid him 8.5M if they didn't expect him to be a key player. His minutes reflect his play and production, not vice versa.
