Team: 2024-25 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: May 6, 2024
Published: May 6, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
- Buyout Smith if there are no takers.
- O'Connor has top-six potential, can he reach 20-25 goals while next to Sid for a full season?
- Joshua and Amadio bring in depth scoring on the third line. Ponomarev makes jump to 3C. Eller moves up if he struggles.
- Wouldn't mind Dillon on a short term deal. Let's hope Graves bounces back with third pairing minutes and a new assistant coach.
- Nieto on LTIR with career uncertainty.
- DAL/CAR SCF prediction.

You’ll find a taker for smith even if it takes eating money, although it would be less than his buy out

There will be a taker for Smith.. if not, I would rather keep him and not sign Amadio and hope he picks it up.
I think I would swap Poulin and Ponomarev, Poulin has more offensive upside IMO.
I wouldnt mind a vet dman for 1-2 years to help acclimate Graves, but not longer.

I wouldn't buyout Smith, but everything else looks good and is pretty much right in line with what I would do - and expect them to do
