I feel it’s a good trade for NYR, they get a RW for Panarin who plays similarly to Dryden Hunt & Blackwell but can actually score.

Maybe the worst defenceman to play in PIT in recent memory.

Or maybe Graves has something to say about that.

Leafs pass. We are willing to do Crosby for Robertson, Jarnkrok and Liljegren though. Let us know

You feel Rust is the better player but are willing to trade him 1 for 1 for Laffy? Go troll elsewhere. Rust doesn't even get a pair of Laffy's old skates 1 for 1.

Laffy at 22 years old scored 28 goals with 29 assists for 57 points at a $2.325m cap hit. Rust at 22 played all of 14 games in the NHL. By 24 he had played 112 games with 20 goals, 21 assists and 41 points. Rust can't carry his jock.

For PIT, it would be about getting a younger player, for NYR it would be getting a more experienced player who has a great track record in the playoffs.

For the Rangers it would be getting fleeced for an older, inferior player and that's why your proposal is ABSURD, just like the last 20 times you posted it troll.

Don't look now, but Lafreniere tied Rust's highest point total in the playoffs two years ago at age 20. 2 years younger than Rust even played an NHL game. This year, Lafreniere is over a point per game player in the playoffs and he's not even on PP1. Go troll somewhere else
