The Sharks have plenty of cap space and need some guys to fill those slots. What # do you think they would sign at? $5m Roy $6m Debrusk?

This is a good idea. I've tried trading Sturm to the Rangers for Goodrow and high draft picks and Rangers fans rejected it. Breaking it up this way works better for them and gets the Sharks a 3rd and a 4th.

You could probably get a 3rd to dump Goodrow, or at least not have to give up the 7th.

For starters, I don't think they'd sign with SJ at all, but Roy will get between 5.5 and 6.5 and debrusk probably the same

I think those are both numbers the Sharks would be willing to pay, but I understand if they don't want to play on a rebuilding team.

Agreed, but Goodrow doesn't.
