From a Dallas perspective, that's not a bad offer at all, may actually be swayed too much in our favor. My guess is though Dallas would say no, but would table it for later in the season. If things didn't pan out to expectations or someone rose from within & basically took over his role, I could see them re-evaluating the deal. In the event that happened though, they'd likely keep the asset value the same, but ask for different pieces. Not sure Puempel would be of interest.

If the Rangers trade Holden, where is the interest in taking back another d man? Why not just keep Holden?

Puempel for contract limit reasons! Prob not on market, I just like his game, it's what we need. They have kids ready to move up and tons of depth, especially at center. They're also maxed out Capwise. Boro is tough and can sit in pressbox, unlike Holden. Saves us cap and depth while adding pick.
