Detroit had 11 more productive forwards than Jarnkrok, and he's no Selke candidate. He's not needed, and not worth a 2nd, especially to Detroit.

Run it back then. It worked out great this year

Nah, they will probably add to some of the deficiencies like RHD (a Roy or Chatfield) while finding some UFAs to add (a Kane or Compher). Best case a few prospects show they’re ready.

No need to overpay a division rival for a player so good TOR fans say he is perfect for cap strapped teams but not for the Leafs.

You haven't seen your team play in the playoffs in over a decade. What makes you think their management will do anything good. Would be a change from their normal

I didn't know it was 2026...

On the other hand, in the entire Salary Cap Era, Toronto has won less games beyond the first round than Seattle. tears of joy

You have zero room to talk ****. I would stop.

Very true, it has been almost a decade since I have seen them in the playoffs, and I still remember watching Boston put the kabosh on the end of a 25 year run... Remember that? I do, it was pretty neat. 4 Cups in that time lol also neat.

Seems like a change is happening, considering the Wings were at rock bottom when they should have had the # 1 pick only a few years ago. Now they are a tiebreaker away from playoffs prior to a majority of the new regime's prospects joining the young core? That seems like a trend going up.
