Although it good be fair value in the trade, Nylander is questionable to play in the NHL this season. Leafs need JVR's production this year. Really don't see the value for the Sabres long term either.

I think the Buffalo trade is an overpayment by Toronto. Would love the thought of the brothers on the same line but Rychel is no slouch and a first rounder seems a little steep. Falk is looking more promising as each game goes by but I think you can get Botterill to pull the trigger with a 2nd or stretch for a 3rd.
