Trade for Tatar (starting to build a playoff team)

Created by: Willian_Cardoso
Team: 2017-18 Arizona Coyotes
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 26, 2017
Published: Jul. 26, 2017
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Coyotes need to add a sniper winger right hand shooter to play alongside Domi. Connor Brown could bebthat guy. Besides, this trade would help Leafs in their cap trouble and with very good prospects and pick(s).

Coyotes need to start to build a competitive team. They need to reach playoffs in the next 2 or 3 years.

So, I think this trade would work for both sides.

Chayka seems to be trying to swing a trade specifically for a right-shot winger, so Tatar doesn't quite fit the bill.

It makes sense at all. When I looked at this team, the first think that bothers me was the fact of a huge lack of right hand shooters on Coyotes roster.

Tatar would be a great fit. However, it would be even better if he were a RHS. I'll consider another option based on your information.

    Thank you.

The problem here is that Babcock has a lot of input into how this team is structured. And he loves himself some Downtown Connor Brown. I mean every time the media brought up the big three, he would turn the conversation towards Brown and Hyman. He loves his work ethic and his defensive play is pretty good all things considered. Besides that, he is a local boy who grew up a Leafs fan and any trade would be a heartbreak for him and his supporters. Also, he scored the goal that sent us to playoffs. So for all these reasons, the Leafs say thanks but no thanks.

Well, you're a Leafs fan, so you know better than me about your team. What you said makes sense to me.

The point is that not easy to find RHS wingers available on the market. Coyotes won't have many options. So, we'll see what they can acquire...

    I like Connor Brown and I think he's going to be a quality player throughout his career but;
    - Why is he suddenly worth a RS Defenseman who just put up fantastic numbers in the AHL (and RHD being something that the Coyotes need).
    - And Crouse who is a very important piece to the Arizona future as he represents one of the few big bodied power forwards that perfectly compliments all the smaller, skilled players that Coyotes currently have.
    - AND we have to give up a conditional pick/picks as well.

I just strongly dislike this trade man, doesn't work well at all for me, and I'm sure most Coyotes fans would agree with me.
