Description

Honka is not on the trading block and these won't happen, but I'm likening this trade to Sergachev for Drouin, except Pac has more value than Drouin as a league top-5 scorer. Honestly, none of us know if nabbing a 1st too is possible while we're here.

As for Davidson, I used him as a tool to trade up for the draft. Colorado has basically no defensemen at all.

We find out tomorrow officially, but everything is pointing to Dallas hosting the 2018 NHL Draft. If that happens, I don't see Nill trading away our 1st rd pick, even if it's #31 overall Dallas Stars

Yupp, that's exactly why I proposed it, knowing that it's a deal you shouldn't pass up on, since your team is pretty much ready for the playoffs now. This should push you over the top. As for us, it'll be a setback for this season, but we should be really good the following season. Obviously, that'll depend on Honka, Hudon, Galchenyuk, and to a lesser degree Jerabek and Scherbak's development... But I believe that you have to play it somewhat risky to make it to the end in the NHL.
