Thought it'd be fun. I'm sure the value is off on some of these trades. Feel free to let me know where

I feel like this team wouldn't make playoffs for the next 2 years, but would be super fun to watch. In 3 years if they gave out smart contracts to retain the young talent at a good cost they could be pretty epic

Apparently NMC's don't mean anything on here. I get it, it is a rebuild but Kesler wouldn't accept a trade to Trashville.

Players are way overvalue here. Getz, although great, isn't going to net that return unless you are taking a cap dump back. I'm assuming that Cogs trade would be at the TDL because i don't see anyone giving up that much for him right now. I can tell you as a Flyers fan there is ZERO % chance they would take that deal. The only player TK would be moved in a package for is Gaudreau - not Vatanen as much as I love him.

Why not? Seems like a promising team to go to right about now.. everyone with a NMC is traded to a pretty solid club. NSH, TBL, and EDM are all almost sure bets to make playoffs, and I'd expect the same from MTL with Getz and Drouin

It's definitely possible I overvalue Getz, but in my book he's likely around the 10th best center in the NHL, is a leader, and has been consistent as can be. A young talented singer and 1st from a team expected to make playoffs seems pretty reasonable.

Wouldn't Cogs for a 2nd make. Ore sense now as opposed to the deadline. Either way he's there for playoffs, but now they have him all season too, and he's never missed a game. Helps out EDM 3rd line and a good model athlete for the kids there.

That's fair regarding TK. Just figured there was a shot by taking Macdonald's contract off the books as well
