Bingo, the reason to trade Saros is to open the door for Askarov to be the goalie of the future adding Daws potentially muddies that transition. 10 OA is a big piece though, could see that being very enticing to the Preds just think its another prospect involved. Have to imagine that the Flames will take Iginla's son at 9 OA but if he or Michael Hage are available as the Preds potential 1C of the future I think Trotz pulls the trigger.

Yes, it won't be done without a sign and trade of Saros which can't happen until July 1, but I'm sure they could have a deal in place along the lines of pick this guy and we'll trade you Saros in 3 days.
