I'll take perbix

I have nothing against him really but ideally Petry slides to third pair duties. For me, the most ideal situation is we upgrade second pair with Roy or similar. That moves Petry down.
Only way I think Perbix is worth acquiring is if we don't upgrade second pair and Petry plays there or we buyout Petry. Otherwise I don't think he is a need and just adds to the logjam that is our defense.

I don't think we'll have the money to adequately upgrade the d is my only thought. Perbix is a safe guy,he won't cost much and may still have some growth in him. Log jam makes it sound like there are a lot of guys competing for ice time but I just see bad defenseman we should replace.

We have about 12M after Raymond and Seider, which isn't much. Could make a swing at a defenseman with that money but the forward group might suffer a bit. If we move money out and our use a buyout that changes as well.
You assessment about the logjam is probably more accurate than mine lol.
I do agree he could be a nice piece of we don't sign a top 4.
