Duchene is a good player, just not a good fit with Minny contract wise. Koivu, Duchene, and Staal's contracts would all end in the next year or two, re-signing all or none is a real possibility.

There's not much behind JEE and Kunin in the system for potential top-6 centers. And nothing in the system for RD (Dumba traded away).

I'd rather go after RHN (I think Duchene is a better player) because he has a couple more years on his contract.

Most Minny fans like the current team (add Foligno as RFA), but aren't in love with it. There just isn't much to be done about it this late in the offseason.

Fair enough. LA is sort of like that. Wait another year to see if the team gets hot and the dominos fall right.

At this point I really do feel bad for Bruce Boudreau and hope he finds some Playoff success (If LA isn't in it).
