Instead of trading gallagher, just dont sign jagr or vanek

that 1st is going to be very late in the round

Don't see anything I like there. Only the Vegas deal are you close to getting the best player in the trade. The Rangers deal is a fire sale that I don't get.

Pacioretty with 2x 1st round picks are an honest trade for Hayes and Skjei. It's not a fire sale unless Pacioretty, Juulsen and Scherbak are losers to you.

Gallagher has value. In my opinion, he has been injured in the last 2 years and is about to take it slow and enjoy his lucrative contract. He has no motivation at going to war again this year. Mtl needs to trade him right now while he still has value.

PIT has no use for Gallagher. He's not going to play 3C so unless there is a 3way deal happening.
