Bowey will get in over Hobbs. Hobbs needs to get some seasoning in the AHL before making the jump. Boyd won't make the roster either, especially as a wing. Walker would have that spot

Bowey vs. Hobbs is definitely one that could go either way. I'm not so sure about Bowey, given how many games he missed last season. And I don't see any good argument for Walker over Boyd. In 3/4 as many AHL games, Boyd has 50% more points. I certainly expect both to get NHL games this season, but there's no good reason to see Walker as a shoo-in over Boyd.

Boyd's an AHL all star. Walker's the first ever Australian to play professional hockey in North America. I'm sure they both get a few games in the NHL this year, but if I had to pick who's got better odds of sticking first, I'm picking the all star.
