The Canucks are a team that are in arguably worse shape than the Devils. They have an aged core, an incompetent front office, and their best talent is Bo Horvat, who they got with the pick they received in exchange for Schneider. I just can't see Schneids waiving his ntc for any team that isn't a cup contender, as much as he did enjoy the first part of his career with the Canucks

NJD would be nuts to trade Schneider. This guy is one of the most underrated goalies in the NHL and is a huge reason the Devils haven't had multiple #1 picks over the last few years. Schneider is a top 5 goalie in the NHL when you look at the whole situation IMO.
