Description

Seen the CBJ trade floating around. I love Atkinson, but he will not want to be here after year so we flip him for futures.

Duchene and Compher end up getting what Sakic wants afterall - NHL Ready Prospect (PDL), Top 4 D (Murray), Two 1rds and 1 2nd.

Am likely very far off on who we flip Atkinson to, but I would think he'd be worth something along a 1st and 2nd .

CBJ won't make the trade. They're in win now mode yes, but that trade hurts them now more than it helps and all for only 2 years of Duchene. Sakic will not get what he wants for Duchene and will either have to settle or take less. More realistic is Murray +1st+ B level prospect for Duchene.

Colorado would sign that deal before you came to your senses and pulled it off the table! Landslide win for the Avs with that deal!

Bleh, Murray sucks and Compher looks like a player. I think the current struggle is Sakic wishing to wait for CLB to sign their RFAs vs Duchene trying to trade himself to NSH for a lesser package.
