Washington (http://www.vancourier.com/pass-it-to-bulis/anton-rodin-gets-a-deserved-third-chance-in-vancouver-1.20867381) politely (https://www.nhl.com/player/alex-biega-8473415) declines. Might give a third for Gagner, though, or a 2nd for Tanev, each at the trade deadline?

I like the Pittsburgh trade, the pick milestones seem very fair.

MTL don't care about the Sedin, keep them.

Canucks have nothing to trade for this MTL 2 top prospect + 1st pick.

Here is the only reason I made that trade. Washington is up against the cap so I thought about helping them by giving them two guys on cheap contracts that will only cost as much as they play. That offer for Gagner might a little low but the offer for Tanev is way off. If Vancouver was looking to move Tanev they'd easily get a better offer than you have proposed.

The pick swap is pretty even. Plekanec is a cap dump. Decent player but too much $$$. One prospect per Sedin.

    Seems fair?

I say the MTL trade is pretty good if Montreal remains desperate. The one-prospect-per-sedin idea is decent, and pick swap also is decent. Although preferably, it would make more sense not to include Plekanec in that trade. If you could trade to PIT, so can we. I don't think it makes sense to give you another 1st/2nd/3rd draft pick.

I took off a star only cause I think you shouldn't sign any UFA's. Stay bad and young this year, draft well in 2018. Maybe one more year of badness, and come back slowly but surely.

I added Plekanec to help balance the cap space... But if MTL could move him to PiT then I don't mind leaving him out of the trade... The reason I signed the UFA's was to make the youth earn their ice-time and since last place in the standings doesn't guarantee the first overall pick in the draft (knowing the Canucks and their crappy draft lottery luck)... Plus I'd trade all of these UFA's that I signed at the TDL for more picks and then bring up the youth

Seems fair?? Not in my mind.
The Sedin have 36 years old, I never give our top prospect for them.
I'll do it 10 years ago, but now, it's too late.

It's fair when you have GMMB running the show. You are in a win now situation. Line up is stocked for those young guys to even get a sniff in the next couple years.

We are not in a win now situation.
Marc Bergevin want build a winning team for many years, not just for 2-3 season. The twins are not what MTL looking for.
I not worry, the staff will make place to the young guys when they are ready for NHL.
