Description
I think the trades are more realistic then not.. and would also mean that Sekera has also waived his NMC. What do you guys think?

Leafs need cap space a lot more than Russel. Leafs have more than enough LHD. That's a lot to give up for Faulk, and there still isn't cap room.

Big overpay for Faulk. I know this board is in love with him, but he really wasn't any better than Larsson and Benning last year (goal differential/60).

Doesn't Russell also have a full NMC clause? He doesn't have to submit teams until 2019/2020. You can't blame Chiarelli for the contracts on McDavid and Draisaitl. They were going to get paid. But that Russell deal...going to be tough to keep the team together.

Yes your right, he does have a NMC. Agreed, on McDavid and Draisatil, they were going to get paid regarless, but will be though to keep players, specially if Poolparty and Yamamato are able to claim top 6 roles.

Strome will have to have a helluva season to get that kind of money. I hope he does, of course, but nothing he's done so far indicates he's that good.
