Hawks aren't retaining salary for anyone let alone this package.

No way are the Hawks retaining half on AA for scraps that's a pretty bad offer.

Personally I'd rather keep Hayes than go for this deal. While they produce similar rate, Hayes is younger, cheaper, and has a bigger upside than a guy pushing 30.

You might want to look at the players involved in a trade before you call someone scraps Hayes had more points last your then Arti has ever had In a season and Holden is not just a throw in he has a nice cap hit for what he can do. However I do think the trade is asking for Chicago to retain to much maybe put 1 million more on NYR and it would be fair but not a trade I would do.

If you're going to be cocky about something, at least be somewhat right. Nobody in their right mind would trade Hayes and his potential for AA.

Holden isn't scraps, but for a team that needs D and cheap D more than most...yet still he's getting traded a lot on here...not that good either. On the Hawks he's at the very BEST their #5, but more like between the #6 and part time health scratch. I honestly just dont see him as a good fit on the Hawks. Why TRADE FOR a 30 year old on anything more the the league minimum when you need to develop the players already in your system. I do like Hayes though! A little worried about the long term $ compared to AA being locked down, but I wouldn't be opposed to trading for him. The Hawks still aren't retaining salary for anyone.
