Description
If this team is near the bottom of the league at the trade deadline I would hope KH makes these moves. I would like to keep Green, but if he has no intention of resigning trade him at deadline. Feedback plz.

I don't know about the rest, but the Ericsson trade is interesting from a Yotes POV.

Let me get this straight.. Trade Fowler who the Ducks just gave an 8 year/$52M contract to, throw in a 1st and 2nd round pick for a soon to be 37 year old who recently admitted he would probably not finish out his contract subjugating the Ducks to Cap Recapture penalties?!

Let's fuckin' do it!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No cap recapture if Z retires I just read in a report. Basically Z would have to agree to play balance of current season and next season for Anaheim knowing that after that he walks away. His contract was front end heavy. His playoff stats are what any contender would be after anyways if they are serious about taking a run at winning the cup. Not sure what Z would net as a return, but with Anaheim's depth at D they could easily afford to loose Fowler IMO.

I don't think Anaheim does that. Does Zetterberg play center or left wing?

The Ducks wouldn't face the Cap Recapture Penalty Detroit would since they're the ones to give him the contract But Zetterberg for Fowler would never happen any ways so it's all moot.

He plays both but pretty much was our #1C this past season.

Why would the trade never happen ? Anaheim has plenty of young D talent to replace Fowler, but if they need more scoring punch in the playoffs upfront than Z is their guy. His playoff stats are worth the gamble on trying to win a cup now.

I think the idea that the Ducks would trade Fowler for Z + picks is a stretch.

I agree with a lot of comments on here, that Zetterberg for Fowler and those high of picks is a bit sketchy, especially if Z will only play 1-2 seasons. If I'm Anaheim, a guy like Z is a good option, but they'd be better of finding somebody cheaper IMO. But the rest looks good.

That Zetterberg for Fowler trade, even without the picks, would never, ever happen. It would be a tough deal even if Zetterberg were 2-3 years younger. Fowler is a young stud who ANA clearly sees as a #1-2 guy on their blueline for many years to come.

Zetterberg for 2 seasons max is not worth Fowler.
