Well as a Habs fan I say yes but I doubt a Blackhawks fan would say the same. Blackhawks are overpaying big time on this lol.

Edit nevermind : I'm stoopid

I am a Hawks fan. I don't think we are overpaying. AA makes a lot of money (not that Danault won't be making that money quickly), and we need the cap space right now. If we can give Danault an extension of 4 years between 3.5 and 3.8, I'd say that's good value and we save a little bit of cap in the process. The 2nd is meh, and could be changed for a 3rd. Pokka is kind of a bust and isn't gonna play in Chicago.

Well yeah I was doing some research, and Pokka is a bust. I don't know, in my head he was a good prospect and played nhl games but he apparently didn't.
Pokka got over my head as a huge piece so it made me think the trade was in Montréal favor, but you're right.

Honestly you don't need to include Pokka, great trade.

I used to believe he was our best prospect. I used to be stupid. ???

Nice trade but CHI is overpaying.

In other news the GM game might need more GM's soon. Anyone looking to join come post in the Asst GM Thread in the GM game section.

This would be a good trade for each team but it's too bad Danault was in the dog house under Q. Unfortunately I don't see him returning.

Meh. He could get another shot. And we could get a really good return from someone like Pittsburgh for him if need be.

I'd have worked it so Lindgren came over with Danault.
