Description
Holden for Vermette gives the ducks a RD to fill out Anaheims d corps while Vatanen is out and Vermette gives the rangers a viable 3rd center that can win face offs.
Marchessault and McNabb for prospects and picks. It gives the rangers a reliable 3rd LD and a quality top 9 forward and Vegas gets a bunch of prospects and picks for some rentals.
Hayes to Pitt for a prospect and pick. NY replenishes one of its picks and prospects while pitt gets its affordable 3rd C that's not signed long term.

Holden is a LHD. NYR aren't going to trade Hayes a year after they got his best buddy (Vesey) to sign. No way they add Zbynek Michalek under any circumstances. They don't need McNabb when they have Bereglazov as a 7th who also has a KHL out clause. They're trying to retool by stocking up on prospects and picks, not trade them away. Also, Vermette probably isn't fast enough to play in AV's system

Well they had him on here as a RD. So my mistake on that.


No worries, AV played him on the right throughout the season so that's probably why CapFriendly placed him there. If you look at the left and right side of the player bars, you'll see a darker blue vertical line on either the left or right side to denote whether they're lefties or righties
