Not really for the Pens. Hagelin has 2 years $4M a year left on his deal. Helm has 4 years $3.8M a year and Sheahan has $2M this year plus is RFA eligible next which will include a raise (assuming he plays well enough to warrant the Pens keeping him which isn't a given). Why would the Pens add all this extra cap (mainly Helm), without an increase in production?

Helm is centre at least. And if the team doesn't like Sheehan. Don't resign him.

Makes some sense, Pens need a 3rd and 4th line center and Helm and Sheahan aren't horrible options. I could see Helm's cap hit and a potential Sheahan raise as being a problem.
