You are sending about 5 roster players, but you make it really easy for FLA to say no when you don't touch any of your top tier players or prospects.

That package is in the right universe, but I don't know where on the depth chart FLA would situate those players or if they judge any of them to have attractive contracts.
FLA probably just says no because that is a strategic change, they're not exactly fixing any problem and they don't have a replacement 1C ready.
FLA has Barkov on a great contract, no hazards in sight. He only gets traded in a deal like the Weber for Subban trade, top tier players are just so rare.

If you wouldn't trade Kadri for that package, a Panthers' fan probably wouldn't trade Barkov either.

Now imagine he asked for Nylander and forget that the Leafs have a garbage blue line that could really use Myers.

Barkov is a stud. If I were Florida I only trade Barkov to Winnipeg if I get Scheifele or Laine.
