Cogliano + Shaw + 6th for Hartman + Hinstroza What tweak has to happen to make this deal work for you? Please look at my roster (Anaheim) and tell me what you need in place of one of those pieces. I will then see if I can do that or come back with a different offer.

At this point, I really want to keep my top prospects. I don't want to trade Hartman. It would take a much higher pick than a 6th. Sorry. Cogliano is a rental and Harman is a young player who can contribute for years to come, and personally I'm not a big fan of cogliano anyways.

Sorry, I thought you liked Cogliano's solid game and positional flexibility. I figured he'd be like insurance for a total cup challenger, given he can play all 3 spots and fill in anywhere. I'm not sure what the BOE will rule on his re-signability, but I feel like he'd be easily be signed again by the ducks unless he has a breakout season.... I'm not sure they would offer you that affordability if you traded for him, but it's worth exploring with the BOE. I don't see him as a paper chaser, just a guy who wants to play and win....

that's WAY too much for me. I'm not trading both DeBrincat and Hartman. As well, the only chance this could work for me is if I can trade Seabrook.

no thanks. I think I can get the same production level from players I already have.

Mitchell is a really versatile player that can plug in anywhere and he's especially strong in faceoffs.
He brings everything but production and still chips in points here and there.
With Anisimov and Schmaltz being weak in the dot and Bouma not really being a center, I think it's an area where you could improve.

I also have De La Rose available (for a 3rd), but he doesn't have the experience Mitchell does.
I'd personally prefer to keep Mitchell myself, but it looks like Montreal is leaning towards DLR, which means Mitchell will likely be traded soon.

I'm not too picky about the year, if we're talking future, I'd prefer next season though. I have a hole there to fill.

I'm not too picky about the year, if we're talking future, I'd prefer next season though. I have a hole there to fill.

would my 2018 6th work for mitchell?

Has to be a 5th for Mitchell sorry. 5th in 2019 is fine though. I already consider a 5th to be a bargain for him.

You can try, but I'm only moving one of Mitchell or De La Rose, and I may have a better trade lined up where I keep Mitchell instead.
If you don't want to do it now it's fine, but no guarantees for later.

ok. I think I'll take my chances.

Would you be interested in doing a deal around Reinhart and Saad?

I'm definitely intrigued. what would the other parts of the deal need to be?

I'm interested in Schmaltz. What you want for him?
