I don't see why LA does that. Quick, is good for about a 2.25 GAA and a SV% in .918% range and makes under $6 million.

i don't see why buffalo would do that? Gaborik is a money pit. Okposo is more valuable than Gaborik nowadays and Lehner is going to have a great year this year behind a much improved defense. Last year Lehner was top 10 in save percentage last year and faced the 2nd most shots in the league. Give him a better D core in front of him and he will be average if not better.

It'll be interesting to see what Lehner does this season thats for sure and obviously I hope for the best. Quick I feel is a HOFer and has cup experience. I think he's a player that puts Buffalo over the top, and allows the defense to concentrate on their game, breakouts, and moving up ice to support the offense because he is a guaranteed brick wall. The only concern is if he stays healthy or if his play style starts getting him hurt more and more. Gaborik is not the focus, but it helps LA get out from under that and maybe different scenery benefits him, if not they can bury him for only 2.8 mill
