I would too, but Schmaltz and Kane are gaining lots of energy.

I think Anisimov is a lot to give up for McNabb, plus so far in trades Vegas has heavily favored draft picks and prospects. Even if they got Duchene, I wonder if they'd keep AA and move him to a wing.

As far as the Duchene trade, I think that's about what Sakic is hoping for. I would also hate the trade for the Blackhawks. Keith & Seabrook are on the plus side of 30, so I think they're going to need to keep Krys & Jokiharju & hope at least of them turns into a top 4 D. To me, when considering a trade for Duchene the issue is by the time one gets to about what Sakic is hoping for, it's too high of a cost. Krys, Jokiharju, Jurco, Hino + 1st rd is simultaneously about right in terms of making the trade happen and too high of a cost for the Blackhawks.
