Ok ... Last night I was finally able to watch a Montreal game (my sports package does not kick in until October) not just the highlights. Wow!! The group really needs to come together in my opinion but to me there are some glaring holes. To me Montoya has to go ... he just looked out of place no sense of compete to me it looks like he feels the #2 job is his. (The reason he only lasts two years with a team) If Lindgren injury is not too bad ... bury Montoya in the minors. Secondly cut Hemsky ... he looked "fragile" out there is no compete!
On defense it's hard to say what Schlemko can bring to the table but right now I'd put him on the third pair when healthy.
I know its just pre-season, but let's get it together!

Completely agree with you about Montoya. I don’t think Hemsky is really that fragile, Martin is just an idiot. So I’d keep Hemsky and have De La Rose and Carr as scratches and Holland with the Rocket. Otherwise great.

Also agree. Put a young goalie prospect behind Price to get experience & few games in the big leagues

Still want to see how Drouin fairs at C, and Chucky on Wing. Not there natural position. Galchenyuk puts up alot more consistent numbers when playing C, so wait and see.

It's gonna look like this yes , but it's not your alignement . It's mine .De La Rose is making the team because of waiver status , as well as Martinsen . Start with a competition slash rotation
