JT, because of linemates, Getzlaf’s age, Kesler’s Injury which means Getzlaf needs to be in tougher more defensive situations, and the fact that JT is just better. The only intangible is what contract talks have to do with JT’s production.

If contract talks have something to do with production that's just unprofessional and plain sad. Tavares may have more pure talent but Getzlaf is tougher and has better "hockey sense"

Tavares has a higher ceiling for sure
