Islanders trade + trade deadline

Created by: Texus
Team: 2017-18 Montreal Canadiens

Description
I think the Islanders trade is pretty realistic.

Pretty sure Vegas will be able to get better prospects plus the first rounder somewhere else but we can dream.

It's a nice looking roster imo

Do you really think Montreal will be in Cup contention to give up futures for a rental?

Yes I do believe they'll be in a playoff position. People are overreacting after only 5 games, this team is playing well and has potential. With a normal performance from their goalie in their last game they handily beat what many consider the hottest team in the league.

I'm not so sure... If we're being honest DLR and Reway are like C+ to B- (at the absolute most) prospects, and at least a first rounder is a given for Neal imo. I think Vegas will actually get more than this for the Real Deal at the deadline.
