Quite possible. The point is, however, to show how the team without many of MB's moves would've been better off. I think that this team without Beau is still much better than what they currently have.

There are some things here that you aren't considering.. Pateryn absolutely had to be traded his GF made that happen. I would've really liked to see the habs give kassian a shot at redemption but it was probably better off for kassian that he was traded. A lot of off ice rumours follow subban, beaulieu, and galchenyuk you and I will never know the full story but it's quite possible those guys had to go as well. Nobody is bigger than the team.

I agree with you this team is better but it's not as simple as you make it because we don't have all the details. Plus hindsight is 20/20.

Hindsight is 20/20, but that doesn't excuse the overwhelming amount of obvious blunders and long-term crippling errors by this team's management over the years.
