Description
I don't envy the Buffalo Sabres, this is a team that overestimated where they were in there rebuid, and invested too much, too soon, into there roster. My goal is to give the team some short-term relief and much more importantly, to reinvest into creating a long-term contender.

This is by no means, a finished product, merely a first step. What do you think?

I like the carolina trade. I think okposos contract hurts his value, i would think the 2 second rounders are overkill. Straight up- an established winger that probably is a little overpaid for the 20-25 goals and 50 or so points he gives, for a young defenseman who is buried on carolinas depth chart. Okposo would be a nice player for carolina, just not sure he is the type of player to overpay for, especially with carolina probably not in the playoffs again.

Pretty bad, you didn't improve the team now at all. If you trade ROR you gotta get better than Leddy.

I disagree, ROR, though a solid 2 way center has a rough contract, and getting a defense-man who can almost match his offensive output with a more reasonable cap hit AND a pick on top of that felt like a bit of overkill to me.
