      So a team with sputtering defensive depth trades their best youg defenseman and a young defensive prospect for Taylor Hall, when you could get Kessel or Sharp for a lot less. The salary differential between Kessel and Hall is less than what you're giving Brad Richards to center the 3rd line (which could be just as easily centered by Tikhonov on your roster). Oy vey.

      We can't afford to trade Maata... Maybe if despes was still here we could trade one of Maata or Poliout.
