OEL a solid upgrade on Gardiner, but certainly not worth an additional 5 pieces. Too much of an overpay and no chance CBJ makes the Savard deal.

I'm sorta worn down by the the OEL to the Leafs....like no other teams have pieces to trade for him. Just trading one LHD for another isn't that much of improvement especially of pieces are involved.
JVR likely is not worth an big extension, especially to team nearing the cap next season.
MSambo21. Leafs are likely to lose Bozak, Moore even Fehr next season at centre. Matthews is the only bonafide centre left. Really can't afford to move Kadri.
