Description

All signs point to John Tavares leaving the Islanders this season even if no one in his camp/organization will admit it. Also added some other options if the Islanders become sellers at the deadline.

1. on the Tavares trade, that would be fair if its a sign and trade like Turris did with Nashville. 2. I do no think Tampa would be able to afford to resign Tavares with Kucherov getting a big raise.

Tampa might not necessarily resign him though. They can afford a rental with lots of prospects to spare.

Tampa might not necessarily resign him though. They can afford a rental with lots of prospects to spare.

tampa is lethal enough without Tavares. idk if tampa really wants to give away that much for a rental.
