You strike me as the type of person whos too arrogant to admit hes wrong, but just read through the comments on this ACGM and you'd realize not only are you wrong but you are unbelievably wrong, just admit its a bad offer and move on.</div></div>
I personally think that this isn't a bad trade. It is not the best, it is not the worst. You have your opinion and it is ok, but I also have mine.

Yeah the one year for Hamilton is because we don't know what will happen to Weber and maybe a 2nd and a 3rd would work better for Seattle to take Byron.

Sure he's shown some flashes but that doesnt automatically make him worth one of our most valuable forwards, theres a reason everyone in this comment section is disagreeing with you.</div></div>
Ok so you are saying that I don't know Lindholm value but you know Drouin's perfectly even if you probably didn't see him play outside of the Calgary v.s. Montreal game. You totally logic man.👏

And also, Montreal would NEVER give up a first just to get rid of Byron's contract. You don't know Bergevin at all if you think that it's going to happen in real life.

I'm not gonna argue with that because you clearly don't know what you are talking about when you talk about Byron

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ansabch12</b></div><div>Clearly you haven't watched Flames games especially this year, the best player and most consistent guy we had all season was Elias Lindholm, feel free to disagree with me but I watched every single game so I think i'd know.
Your trade is awful idk how you can possibly think that's fair value, idc if Drouin still has alot of potential he has shown nothing his whole career of him realizing that potential while Lindholm is far and away the better player and on top of that hes a center, an extremely low first rounder and a 2nd round pick is not even close to enough to bridge that gap. Try adding Romanov, Suzuki, or Caufield and then maybe its considered, and before you call me crazy for mentioning those names that is the value for a 1st line center, if you don't like it don't trade for him.</div></div>
Mabye I don't know Lindholm value, but you don't know Douin's either because he has shown some great playmaking abilities before he got injured.

I guess monahan instead of Lindholm would be a pretty good trade too, but I still think mine is not bad at all

Not at all his value is lower than usual like all the other Flames players.

First, your best player is CLEARLY NOT Lindholm, second Drouin has still a lot of potential. He is only 25 and is not playing just because he doesn't want to play in Montreal anymore.

Drouin has enough value with that first to get Lindholm. This trade is MORE than fair considering the terrible season they just had and the fact that they want to move their core a little bit.

Cap space for trade deadline
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Alfie11</b></div><div>A 3rd would definitely not be enough because we're not interested in taking on cap dumps, especially that don't fill a position of need. We have Nick Paul and Alex Formenton for LWers in our bottom six, both of whom fit our timeline, both of whom are good on the PK, and Formenton is faster than Byron. There's a good chance that if Byron was simply added to the Sens roster today, he wouldn't crack the lineup. We probably don't even do it for a late 1st because our owner isn't the type to spend more money than he has to on essentially buying a draft pick. At least it's slightly more intriguing than a 2nd, but given that nobody knows how good any of these players are because most of them have hardly played this season, a late 1st isn't that intriguing.</div></div>

You can dump him for a 3rd if you retain 1.5M</div></div>
I don't think because he is not a total cap dump since he is still decent defensively and he is super fast

I think that a 3rd will be enough for Ottawa to take byron salary because he is still usefull on the pk.

The flames want to get ride of gaudreau and drouin still has potential and he is only 25. Plus, gaudreau just had a really bad season so his value is lower than usual.
