The LA trade = Decline w/ counter proposal
Sergy is great. Would definitely improve the Kings defense core without giving away any roster players.
Turcotte - I wouldn't want to give him away without seeing him play in the NHL. It's hard to rate his value without playing a single NHL Games.
2021 1st - If the Kings are not rushing to become contenders then I'd rather keep the 2021 1st as we can select a great D-man.
Here is my proposal. What do you think
Tampa Offers:
- Sergachev
Los Angeles Offers
- Sean Walker
- Tobias Bjornfot
- Tyler Madden
- 2021 2nd Round Pick
- 2022 2nd Round Pick

I do agree with everything you’re say. In your opinion, would this team be a strong contender for the 2022 Playoffs?

I hope Kings would decline to this. I agree that he’s worth a 4th round pick at the most, but we love seeing this guy throw hands!

Reinhart trades With Extension
The Kings deal I would say is definitely fair in value. I just don’t see Reinhart being the “guy” they gonna make a move for. I think they want something little bigger. Eichel/Laine/Gaudreau. Sure if they are unable to get any of those players, I’m sure Reinhart will be the “the guy.” I do believe ****emo is one of the prospects Blake will “low key” not trade. This guy can light em up.

Toronto:
- Morgan Reilly (signed extension)

Los Angeles:
Adrian Kempe
2022 1st round Pick
2022 3rd round pick
2023 conditional 2nd round pick if Kings make playoffs in 2021-22 season with Morgan Reilly or Rasmus Sundin and either/or play at least 41 games.

Another one for 21-22
7.8M for the next 8 years is a nightmare. We can easily use that cap for younger better players. Kovalchuk in the past couple of seasons of playing was pretty washed up. Kuvy is slowly turning into the “recent style” of Kovalchuk. As in he’s slowly losing his game. In 2-3 years Kuvy won’t even put up 50 points.

Buffalos offseason with multiple teams in on Eichel Part 4
I personally like Eichel. I think he’s great. I wouldn’t mind him in LA at all. Rob Blake will not be moving Byfield or Turcotte any time soon. I can also say the Kings will by no means be a Contender next year when with Byfield. They’re about 2-3 seasons away from being a legit solid Contender. That being said by then I’m pretty sure Turcotte, Grans, Iafollo, and the 8th overall pick would have more impact to the Kings combined then Eichel alone.
I don’t think Eichel will be wearing a Kings uniform.

I just don’t see the Kings taking 7.8M Cap for the next 8 years. Kuzy is gonna be like the recent Kovalchuk in a couple years.

(Kings fan) so fair and honest opinion.
Eichel Trade : That’s a huge decline. Way too much for Eichel. Kaliyev, Turcotte, and Bjornfot who are probably on the top 5 prospect list on the Kings plus the 8th overall pick. Ehhh.. I just can’t imagine Rob Blake saying yes to this.
Kempe Trade - I don’t think I have any problem with this one. Seems pretty fair in value, but I don’t think Blake wants to move Kempe yet.

I agree with the person below regarding Kings won’t trade Brown. I think with Brown removed it would be strongly considered. In terms of value, I would say it’s fair value on both sides. The only issue I see is, this free agency has many players that Kings can sign off season. Lot of other great prospects on the team exl Byfield, Kaliyev, and maybe Bjornfot. That being said I don’t think Kings management is gonna rush him. They’ll want him to play some Kings to see how is game is in the NHL. Next thing you know he puts up 30-40 goals next season. Likelihood that would not happen but it’s amazing how prospects develop. Look at Kaprizov

Sabres Re-Build because that never gets old
I didn’t necessarily say Grundstrom + Turcotte is better than Reinhart. What I’m saying is Turcotte + Grundstrom combined have more trade value than Rienhart. Reinhart is a solid player no doubt. However, the potential of Turcotte is very high and has a great season in the AHL. Of course that doesn’t mean anything for the NHL but the kid is expected to be elite. That’s why is value is high. Grundstrom looks like a great player as Well, I see him being a solid top 9 maybe even top 6 player in several years.
And to hockey_hippy... I would take Brown over Skinner any day. Brown has leadership, is a veteran who knows the game very well, can throw hits when needed, can play in front of the net. So what Skinner scored 40 goals two season ago? That means nothing. Brown is better than Skinner in every way besides maybe skating.
Bottom line - Turcotte/Byfield should not be traded as the future is unexpected. Next thing you know Turcotte is scoring 30-40 goals a season. Who knows. I would wait another season or two before considering a trade unless it includes big names like Eichel or Laine/Jones

Massive 3 way blockbuster trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jacketsman61</b></div><div>Did you not see in this scenario he extends in LA?</div></div>
I did. But that doesn’t affect his trade value. What I’m trying to get at is if Jones doesn’t get traded this season, he’s a UFA at the end of the season. Why would we give away so much when we can get him at Free Agency. Therefore, Jones trade value dramatically decreases.

Massive 3 way blockbuster trade
Huge Decline by the Kings.
Seth Jones is UFA after this season. Therefore his trade value will be about 50%. Laine is RFA, who want to play in LA and does not want to remain in Columbus. Even without those factors Jones & Laine are not worth no where close to that.

Small steps
Kings point of you we would definitely decline. Vilardi has proved he is at least a 3rd line Center. The guy keeps getting better and better each game and will definitely become a 2nd Liner. I wouldn’t be surprised if he plus 2nd line this upcoming season, he’s that great.
Samuel ****emo - This kid is incredible. He is lighting them up. I can say this guy will be a sniper in the NHL. Not many people give him attention which is why he is so underrated.
8th overall pick - Too many high end prospects this Draft. Especially on defense. LA wants to improve defense.
I don’t see the Kings giving up 8th overall pick unless it’s packaged in a deal to bring it 2 huge instant game changers. Like Laine, Seth Jones.

Why do you think that? Just curious haha? I know is overall game isn’t that great but the guy still has speed and a good shot. I think he would fit great would the Kings. He will fit so well with Kopitar. I just feel like his game will drop over the next years so I wouldn’t want to see anything more than 3 years. Unless it’s like a $3.5M per season deal.

The Proper Moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>IconicHawk</b></div><div>No but seriously last offseason he was offered money to play in the KHL</div></div>
I’m not surprised. Only thing is do people really wanna live in Russia? They money they pay isn’t that great, the economy is getting worse, some areas are getting more and more corrupt. I wouldn’t be surprised though. I feel like he still has enough talent to receive a 3-5 year contract ranging $4.5-6.5M. I think KHL at the most will offer him half that amount. But who knows! It’ll be a interesting free agent. I know it would never happen but if somehow Ovi came to LA and Hamilton, and kings trade for Laine only it would be incredible. But I know that would NEVER happen. Ovi and Hami will for sure resign.
