It's good, but I'd rather Graves over Gavrikov. Colton and Joesph would be great adds. Colton price is fair IMO as I can't see Bisebois moving him for less.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jonis</b></div><div>Terrific, but I do not like the Beauvillier trade because his increase in production since entering Vancouver and a 5th rounder from Tampa would not be as valuable as Vancouver's own 2nd rounder and Colton only has 32 points so he would not be a worthy placeholder even though it frees up the cap space it may not be good long term because some of Beauvillier is retained a bit.</div></div>
He had 32points playing 11mpg on the 4th line mostly in the last 2years as a 4th liner he scored 22&16 goals how many times do guys who put up meh numbers in Tampa Bay or don't get a chance until 25-26 in TB and flourish elsewhere. Jonathan Marchessault, Carter Verheaghe,Yanni Gourde Taylor Raddysh. Vancouver isn't TB they don't have the talent nor the player development set TB has.

MIN trade
Frankly, I'd rather have Foligno. He would provide leadership and toughness. The Canucks could use both. Fleury is too expensive to have as backup goalie. IMHO the money would be better spent elsewhere.

Kindve how I see it too, I’d lean jets slightly here. It’s the kind of deal I don’t think anyone would love, but could talk themselves into. Found it interesting none the less, wanted to see some thoughts

I’d pay that for the oilers. Kids really good and getting better. Would do it at a drop of the hat if I it worked for cap

i know 5 overall is nice, but Miller is a PPG player, and i'm not sure one asset (plus a third, i guess) will do it. Kinda need multiple things coming back into the Canucks pipeline to make a deal I think.

Trading Up - version 2
It cost Detroit #48 & #138 to move up from 23 to 15 in last year's draft. You can't do it from three spots further back with #60 & #129 - either bump up the 2nd to Montreal's 2nd and have Vancouver send back their 3rd (so it's #26 & #33 for #15 & #79) or move that 5th up to Anaheim's 3rd (so #26, #60, #74 for #15).

As VAN is currently constructed, this trade doesn't make sense. But if other D are brought in and make Dermott more expendable then I can see Beauvillier fitting in VAN. Adding the second is a bit much though.

You don't see JBD or Sergachev being a long-term partner for Hughes?

I like the Pens trade for the off-season if the Pens can find a way to replace Marino, but my preference is for Garland over Boeser, so I'd be all in for this.

I think he was talking about Motte… he said this “TBL gets a fast hard hitting BOTTOM 6 guy who can PK…”. If you look under additional details on tampas side, you will see he added Motte.

NYR fans say he’s untouchable. Been trying to make trades for him for Hertl and that doesn’t work for them. Before that it was Chytil and he was “untouchable” too but now that he’s hasn’t been good rangers fans put him in a package for Hertl 🤷🏻♂️

Miller trade this year
If we take on cap dumps from other teams (ie Ritchie, Hornqvist, Hagelin) while also retaining salary, then I think we’d need more than the return in those offers. Also from Colorado I’d prefer Barron to be involved, but it’s still a good offer

The best fit I think would be Toronto, but I feel the return is underwhelming (slightly). So, I would go for the Colorado trade.

Otherwise I think that all this is fairly reasonable and makes the team better in the long run.
