Miller's great, but the Blues have neither the need nor the cap. They can't spare so much young talent capital anyway.

No chance on that NSH trade. Fabbro is finally becoming the #1 defender that they drafted him to be.

The best fit I think would be Toronto, but I feel the return is underwhelming (slightly). So, I would go for the Colorado trade.

Imagine if miller was added tho that might be the best offense in the league

Miller would be a great addition to any team. But if the Leafs are trading young assets they shouldn't be going after another forward.
That Florida trade isn't good for Vancouver at all. Retaining and then taking on 5.3m Hornquivst for 2.5 years.

I wonder if Carolina might be interested. Some interesting prospects there:

Suzuki, Drury, Morrow, Bokk, Drury, 2023 1st, 2022 2nd

Suzuki, Morrow, 2023 1st?

Not only does Miller play the type of game the Blues play, but he can switch to center if need be. The problem is what line he goes on when Buch, Vova, Schenn , Perron come back.
I also don't think Bolduc would be the worst to give up either. I dont see him being any higher than maybe low end 2LW or 3rd line center. But I'd hate giving up a 1st right now.

If we take on cap dumps from other teams (ie Ritchie, Hornqvist, Hagelin) while also retaining salary, then I think we’d need more than the return in those offers. Also from Colorado I’d prefer Barron to be involved, but it’s still a good offer

Would love to have Miller on the Blues but we are already way too deep. We would have to put a top-6 talent on the 4th line.

Probably more than the Avs would want to pay, plus weakens an already atrocious PK.
