Wouldn’t it be better with Rantanen at 2C?

Chychrun and JVR
JVR is a bad fit, Noesen needs to stay on the 4th line because he’s on PP1. Adam Henrique is a better fit for that same package.
Svechnikov Aho Jarvis
Teräväinen Kotkaniemi Nečas
Martinook Staal Fast
Noesen Henrique Puljujärvi

Henrique
Drury can play wing, but the concept is really just a prospect, a 2023 2nd, and a 2023 4th for Henrique. So Puistola would probably be ok to trade instead.

Try and improve Acciari and Jeannot, There are better players at those positions. Seattle is a goldmine for example. Eberle, Sprong, and Tolvanen are all worth Rostering. Also I'd recommend giving up on Knight, and picking up Copley or a goaltender that is rumoured to be traded such as Vejmelka, Talbot, or Reimer. However, wait to pick up the goaltender until it is closer to the trade deadline, and you can confirm that they're being traded to a good team where they will get enough time in the crease.

My fantasy team at playoffs am I winning fantasy this year
I think the key part of my team is that I have 5 defensemen on PP1. Dunn is technically on PP2, but both of Seattle's PP units could be considered PP1.

Goalies are mostly scored by wins in my league. Talbot is shaky, but the other two should be fine, they both win a lot.

NecasBear Trade at the Deadline
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>I wouldn't do this. Chychrun's overrated. He's never had a season as good as the season Skjei is coming off. Carolina got Skjei for a 1st straight up. If you want to move them Bear, I get that. But Necas and the picks for a defenseman that even here is number 3? I don't like this.</div></div>
I would rather just trade Bear, and add more picks, but I don’t think they would take that trade. I think they want some young talent, and Necas would make great incentive to take the trade. I think Chychrun could also come in clutch in a playoff run this year. I like the move provided it’s pulled off at the right time, it could be a bit of a risk, but I could definitely see it paying off in the playoffs, I mean what team in the east is going to score consistently against that D corps. Also, with Pacioretty in the lineup, we would have more than enough firepower to score enough ourselves in the playoffs. I just see Chychrun potentially being more valuable than Necas in the playoffs, and that’s really all this trade is about. We’re not really planning to use Bear, and the picks don’t affect this season. It’s more like an all in on a playoff run type trade. Even though it’s not one for one, the mentality of the trade is a 1 for 1 of Necas and Chychrun.

Sorry I keep posting essentially just that same trade in my armchair GM teams, but I keep making new versions as new signings are being announced. Just made this one in lieu of the Stastny steal

Improved Centre Depth after Stastny Steal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Canesfan21_</b></div><div>There’s zero point in that blues trade, At all. Barbashev is also not a 2C. KK will never play wing.
Why tf are you giving away a solid depth D man for free?</div></div>
Ok honestly we’re ready to win a cup. Barbashev plays Centre, he scored 60+ points last season, if we want to win a cup, we should look to make a trade to give us a more dependable 2C than KK, and KK plays LW, until he proves himself, I don’t want to see him as 2C. And honestly if we’re going for a cup this season, we shouldn’t be concerned about locking down depth defenseman. We should be getting ready to win the cup then go into a rebuild over the next half decade surrounding our younger players (Svechnikov, KK, etc.) not saying KK doesn’t have potential, just saying this isn’t his era yet, and I feel much more comfortable putting him on wing and demoting him to a lower line as soon as Pacioretty returns.

KK isn’t going to be a 4th line winger, he’s the 2C, Jarvis isn’t a center. Also they just let Leivo walk so I doubt they bring him back a month later.</div></div>
Ok weird fact, but Jarvis is actually a centre. He just got forced to play winger this past season. Look it up on the official NHL website if you don’t believe me. I think letting Jarvis centre his own line might be a really interesting move instead of trying to keep him on the top line as a winger.

Win a cup now not perfect but improving
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>That St Louis deal is comical. Barbashev had a great year, but he's not ANYWHERE NEAR worth that. Maybe a single first, but both? Laughable.
That Merril deal is pretty bad. You can get him cheaper than that, especially giving up Coghlan to do it.
Too much to pay to dump Gardiner. Just a single third should get a team to do it. Martinook isn't going anywhere. Rod threw a fit when the team wanted to let him go and bring McGinn back.</div></div>
So basically just the deals are bad (giving up too many picks), but the players are good pickups?

Learning still is this better
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Canesfan21_</b></div><div>I just can’t see the Canes trading their captain while trying to win a cup, especially with retention. And that’s quite the overpay for Barbashev, Klingberg is no longer needed with Burns. Not sure why Jarvis is on the 4th line.
Staal’s contract is too large for the value he gives to the team. Would be sad to see him go as captain, but I think Aho can fill his shoes for sure! I added Klingberg still in an effort to make the best D corps in the league. Barbashev has definitely proven himself as an excellent point-getting forward, and would fit in perfectly to boost the scoring on our second line. I think the price might be a bit high, but I feel that the return will definitely be worth it in a deep run for the cup this season</div></div>
