Thread:
Philadelphia Flyers signed Chris Stewart (1 Year / $753,757 AAV)

Quoting: drewjenks

LMAO ... OK there bud.
1) All of the Leafs key forwards are already signed through next season.
2) All of the Leafs press-boxers are already signed through next season.
2) Anderson + Rielly + Sandin + Liljegren are signed through next season.
SIGNED FORWARDS
Hyman - Matthews - Nylander
Johnson - Tavares - Marner
T.Moore - Kerfoot - Kapanen
N.Petan - Gauthier - Agostino
SIGNED DEFENSE
Reilly - Sandin - Liljegren
SIGNED GOALIES
Anderson - Joe Woll
SIGNED PRESS-BOX
Agostino - Kossila + (Gravel or Holl)
2020-21 SEASON TOTALS
Signed Roster = 20 Players
Team Cap-Hit = $70,500,000
Salary Cap Est = $84,500,000
------------------------------------------
Remaining Cap Space = $14,000,000
Required Signings = 3 Defensemen (Dermott = $2,000,000 / Muzzin = $5,000,000 / Barrie = $7,000,000)
Total Cost = $14,000,000
And Toronto really doesn't have to sign Barrie if he wants too much money.
They could also trade Kappy + Hyman for help on defense or cap-space.
Especially if Mikheyev + Moore keep playing as well as they are.
Go check it for yourself though ... I mean, were definitely on the right website.

Here folks is a wonderful exhibit of someone taking a comment WAY too seriously. It's fascinating to see, but also quite sad at the same time. anyways, Moving on!!

Hischers contract sucks

Quoting: Stan_Bowman

He’s what a 50 point scorer as a rookie? He will definitely improve as this contract ages, and if you end up getting a 65 point player at 7.2 in a couple years I don’t think you’ve done terrible.

im not a hischer fan but 7.2 is a lot of money and he hasn't exactly proven anything like most points is 50 is that rlly worth 7.2

Pietrangelo

Quoting: Sicarius

Are you just having fun or do you really think the Blues would entertain trading Pietrangelo for a bunch of fillers?
I don’t think the Blues would ever trade him but you’re probably looking at Rakell + Steel to get a conversation started

I don't think Anaheim would make this deal, let alone Rakell and Steel. Pietrangelo is 29 and does not fit into Anaheim's core at all. If the Blues were smart they'd entertain trading him, but that's not happening. Makes no sense for either team.

Dubois for Domi
Dubois is a 1c at 21 not a prospect. He's the whole package and has all the tools to be an elite Centre sooner than later. How can Columbus trade that plus a good young LHD and a 1st which could be pretty high! For domi who you'd rather play on wing, and Suzuki who doesn't project to be what Dubois is? It's not good. Sorry they're not trading PLD and if they were it would start with kotkaniemi

I also went back and MTL makes out like bandits not CBJ. They get a young #1 C, quality D and a first for a good winger, a good prospect and 2 seconds. They know what Dubois is at the nhl level. Hoping on a prospect who is only a year younger than Dubois. That’s a pass.

You lose all credibility when you said Suzuki is a good prospect. Good ? Really ? wow
