<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BoeserSZNMNBoy</b></div><div>Hope you take this as constructive argument, &amp; not attack, or rude from me: if so I apologize

Sean Monahan: he's not worth that offer. One, he just had a 2nd major hip surgery. Second, flames want him out because he basically put up a wall. Monahan, &amp; John G contributed to negative Season for them even with their new coach

I remember sean Monahan hitting a certain milestone this season, &amp; Daryl suter openly saying in media he didn't give a damn

Also his issues with hiring of Daryl Suter hiring needs to be investigated

For travis K, he's not worth that much value either. He's expansive also, &amp; wild shouldn't be trading for player's whose cap are that when wild need to resign fiala, Joel Eriksson Ek, Kaprizov, Kaapo kahkonen, &amp; Nico sturm along with putting a roster together</div></div>

No worries at all - I'm not taking anything you said as rude. I appreciate any feedback that has thought or substance, whether I agree or not. It's the lazy, unhelpful answers that I find annoying.

You gave me a lot to unpack, but starting with Monahan, I think he's worth it. His cost is reasonable, and his upside is pretty significant. MIN has depth, so he wouldn't be expected to be THE guy, but he'd also be put in a situation where he can succeed - i.e not stuck playing with garbage. Culturally, I think he'd like the quieter market and could really buy into what Guerin is building. I'm not aware of any off-ice or coaching issues with Monahan, but I'll take your word on that. I'd just remark that I find it almost appalling more players don't have conflict with Suter. I don't think I've seen a single interview where he comes of as a normal person - he's almost deliberately weird and awkward, so to me that's a total non-issue.

Regarding TK, he's a great player. I have no doubt in my mind that he gets 50 points playing with Fiala. But more importantly, he'd help Fiala achieve his full potential.

Finally, on the subject on contracts, in this model, I actually do have Ek, Fiala and Kap all resigned. I just barely came in under the cap, but signing those 3 was priority number 1. In this model, there is concern over signing Boldy and Rossi, but I didn't project out the full numbers that far.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DogDayCaps2</b></div><div>Lmfao “ 2. It doesn’t matter how many other people got covid? The fact remains that it’s not that difficult to follow the safety guidelines and stay healthy, but he blatantly disregarded the guidelines and got covid not once, but twice. That shows a lack of professionalism and no respect for his personal health, teammates, organization, job, etc.”

Just teams I can think of that had massive COVID outbreaks. “ it’s not that difficult to follow the safety guidelines and stay healthy” yeah seems effortless lol. I honestly wonder if people actually think before they talk. Not that difficult and having multiple teams shutdown for COVID cases aren’t the same thing guy.

Can’t say the same thing for Kuzy? Do you know if he’s sober or not? Are you just assuming that bc that’s the easy narrative? Seems intelligent but I expected that from the way this conversation started lol

Doesn’t matter how many people got COVID? It’s a extremely contagious virus. Lol 33.2m people got it and you are talking like it’s uncommon and reckless to have gotten it lol. He could have got it from the grocery store or from his wife. You have no clue.</div></div>
Just because other young multi-millionaires also got covid does not absolve Kuznetsov from responsibility for his actions. “What about him” is a stupid response when we’re discussing Kuzy’s decisions. He blatantly disregarded covid guidelines and was caught and suspended as a result, so it’s not like he was innocent and happened to get it at the store or whatever. He was not doing his best to ensure he didn’t get it, and wasn’t even following the simplest of rules to ensure the health and safety of himself and good teammates. And then he got it again later. He hasn’t earned the benefit of the doubt. We don’t know if Kuzy’s sober or not, but that incident certainly shows a pattern of decision making that supports this narrative regarding his recent decisions in showing a lack of growth/maturity. At the end of the day he’s an adult and a professional getting paid a lot of money to stay healthy and play a sport, and he couldn’t do the bare minimum to ensure that happened.
