Not bad. Nothing crazy, the Russell trade might need some adjustment but not out of reason. But. It's almost too logical for the Oilers. This is at best a bubble team, it's what they should be doing for the long term gains, but Chai won't survive another missed playoffs.
Also Pakarinin, Auvitu, and Slepyshev have all announced they've moved on and are heading over seas.

Leafs 18/19 - No Tavares

Well, you're not wrong, he is a guy they should be building around. However he left the Avs for being a rebuilding team, and the Sens only have him for this 1 season. then he's UFA. They'd be wise to get at least something for him considering what they gave up.

i agree with the other posters, those first 2 trades would be great for both sides. And also agree that the Nash/JVR situation is a pretty lateral move, so why bother? Plus, as much as I like Nash, playoff JVR is a completely different animal and probably the better player.
Though I don't think Arizona will trade Hjalmarsson, he's been invaluable to Churchyn's development.

Klef
Let's not forget the Leafs are signing Igor Ozhiganov next season too, so there's another RH. Oddly I'm not sure what position the Leafs are in need of... Center? but you're not getting a caliber center for wingers. I think Klefbom brings a dimension to the Leafs blueline that they lack, in a top 4 D man with offensive ability and reach

Dreaming: Cutting the Fat
Not bad, I would say that Duchene trade would have to have a 1st though, or Dermott switched out with Marincin. LoVerde isn't going anywhere (not that he's highly sought after, sign & trades typically never happen), but if JVR made an agreement to CAR that he will extend with them, than that trade has legs.

Duschene rumor
As far as trade proposal's go, that's actually not bad, and feasible.

Tweaking some of the draisatl trades I've seen
That's actually a pretty good deal for both sides. That's the important part, whatever he makes is relative since the Canes have the cap room regardless.

They also just signed Russell back, they're not trading him no matter how much we wish for it.

Carolina trade
I'm with Kaljjis here, Drai or nothing. Canes are making a push to be a playoff team now and need offense, trading Lindholm (who's better than RNH imo) seems counterproductive.

Leafs 17-18 with Duchene
Thanks for all those who posted. This isn't necessarily what I think is better, but there are certain elements to this Holden for Bozak rumor that make it seem like it's going to happen. So if they're trading Bozak, who's replacing him at center? Nylander seems locked with Matthews for now. So of available centers, Duchene is the guy. Some people have pointed out Duchene had 43 points, hence, it's likely they only end up with a "good" defensive prospect, not an elite one despite what Sakic wants. As for picks, as stated in the details, JVR will garner a nice return of picks come the trade deadline as his contract will be quite easy to move.
Is Duchene and Holden better than JVR/Bozak/Dermott? In combined point totals, probably not, but Duchene is a better C than Bozak, and 5 years younger. He's also 2 years younger than JVR who is a winger, a position we are bursting at the seams with. So essentially a move like this moves JVR's contribution to center at the cost of Dermott, with a defensemen capable or replacing him along with pick.
Keep in mind too, Duchene is 6mil, likely to get a slight bump in pay on his next contract. Bozak + JVR is just shy of 8.5mil, and JVR is getting paaaaiiiiiid on his next deal.
