As a Caps fan I would hate it because the Pens have not been in a situation without a superstar player for the past 3 decades. We will see what happens but I would imagine both the Pens and Caps are going to start their rebuilds very soon...

No it’s not lol. Eller is a really good 3rd liner. Brodzinski is a 4th liner at best and Rempe is only good for fighting when the league is taking fighting out of the game. I get being a homer for your team but that’s extreme lol

Great we will. The pens have no use for someone who is overrated and overhyped because his only use is fighting in a league that is getting rid of fighting lol

Hawks decline. Pool party isn't a guy the Hawks want or need. And making 12 trades and turning over half the roster? Not very likely either.

Islanders easily decline, and I doubt that contract ages well at all.

Maybe. but then you have to consider what Carter says. He has a full NMC.

You still have a few picks left. Just trade the rest and then all you need to worry about on draft day is the buffet.

I had no idea vanacek was making 3.4 mil….caps pass. Maybe if we swap Kuemper for vanacek and some picks

Could PIT add another core player 24-25
Can't imagine Dallas has any real need for Guentzel considering they're the highest scoring team. And I'm not sure if you're including Marchment as a cap dump, but he's having a fantastic year.
IF Dallas were to aquire him, I think it would be something like a 1st, a 3rd, ONE of either Bourque OR Kyrou, and RyJo.
Also PIT isn't retaining on Graves for 5 more years.

If this season doesnt work out we need young guys and we need to retool
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DNP1932</b></div><div>Go and look up previous trades for starting goalies and see what they get. Iirc fleury was the last “big” goalie trade, and he got a conditional 2nd at the deadline after being traded from Vegas for a scrap for cap reasons, and that was after winning a vezina. Goalies simply don’t get great returns sadly.</div></div>
Hold on there, hoss. Kuemper was traded to COL for a 1st, 3rd and Connor Timmins.

I could see Trotz having interest in Tanev, but he’d probably just go after him in FA if he wants to.
NSH doesn’t consider the Guentzel trade.
Probably not enough for Jenner.
The STL trade just doesn’t really make sense for either team.
Not sure why NSH or ARI do that trade.</div></div>
I get the interest in Guentzel but i bet if nashville fixed their center issue the wings would follow. Need a strong center similar to RoR either homegrown or trade. Rising tide lifts all boats

TRADING EVERYONE FOR JOKES NOT SERIOUS
Hughes for Mcdavid 1 for 1 at most
Hughes has 4 more years on his deal and makes 4.5 mill AAV less
Again, with 2 years of term on drai vs 8 for Stutzle it’s probably 1 for 1 at most
Of course it’s not realistic to move them at all but young superstars with excellent long term deals isn’t what you’d get
