The biggest problem with this is Spooner at LW. One of his biggest issues is his less than stellar play along the boards and in the corners, aka areas of the ice a left winger will frequently visit. He loses the majority of his puck battles in those areas, just like he loses face-offs as a C. If Spooner isn't traded; He HAS to play 3rd C and work on his Face-offs. Every chance he's had at LW he's been much, much worse than his normal Center play. Also JFK may not even be ready. In his one game last year he was about as good as Riley Nash would be IMO, which isn't worth rushing him for. He starts the season in the AHL unless he has a great camp and they are sure he's ready.

I don't want Jimmy Hayes on this team under any circumstance. It's almost as if Boston's management hates him so much they won't let him have another shot somewhere else. It's like their trying to crush his will completely, even though he's proven by now that he can't play in his hometown.

I really don't want to see Adam McQuaid and Kevan Miller both on the team this year, let alone have to watch them on the ice paired together. They're the same thing, pick one to keep and move the other. Having a redundancy on the team such as them isn't helpful. It'd be the same thing with Torrey Krug and Matt Grzelyck both in the lineup.

This is a plausible mock because although I would prefer it done differently at some positions, it could actually happen. I don't think it's the most likely scenario though so you don't get a full score.
