<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LoganOllivier</b></div><div>That bottom 6 is terrible. And this is going to cost the Canucks a lot of development. They have young offensive players who should be playing 3rd line sheltered minutes and instead will be in the minors while Sutter gets destroyed by the oppositions best, that or Petterson will get utterly destroyed playing against other teams best players on the road. The 4th line will never score, and the top line will be asked to shoulder way too much of the load.

This is going to be an ugly year for the canucks. Hopefully you get hughes because this is not good at all.</div></div>

I mean yes its going to be another rough year in Vancouver. that being said its hard not to get excited for these young kids coming up through the system. This franchise was a joke when Jim Benning took over for the team in 2013-14 summer. Gillis drafted so poorly in the years he was with us. hence thats why it has been such a slow rebuild. Jim has added Hughes, Jouelvi, Gaudette, Petterson, Demko, Dahlen, Stecher, Pouliot, ect.. and others yes he has made some mistakes in the draft (not taking Thachuck, Ehlers/Nylander) but has had some steals also Boesser, Demko etc... Hopefully they can unload some contracts like MDZ, Edler, Gagner, Nielson at Deadline for Picks. I like the direction we are headed in. In the preseason veteran jobs will be on the line, as rookies are on the rise, and hungry to crack the NHL. will be interesting to see what the final roster looks like come October 1st!
